Beer mask for skin. yes, that’s what we are going to talk about today. But before that, ‘morning ladies. How’s it going at yours? In this part of the world, things are all right. Happy and shining and springy and flowery and its beer time. The other day I had a discussion with a friend of mine about whether or not I’m selective about what I write in my blog considering a lot of my family members check this space regularly. You wanna know the answer? Heck no. I write things as I feel, as I want, as I do and experience. I love my family members and my friends but what they think of me would never really be a good enough reason for me to be selective in what I write ‘coz then to my audience, I’d be outright cheating. Yes, there are some things that I choose not to discuss over this space but whatever I write, it is as experienced. Best part is my family members are more than supportive to me and never really imposed anything on me by far. They believe in giving one their freedom and we always knew how to not misuse it. As simple as that. Now come on, take it easy and drink some! Or if you want that super skin without the calories, here’s a beer mask recipe for you.

We had some left over beer from our good times and since no one would touch that no-fizzy, flat beer, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to treat the lady in me with some exotic face mask. Easy and very quick to make, this mask gives instant results. Word of a real girl, no kidding. Whether you have had a long day at the open and your face is tanned or you are tired and need to revive those tired skin cells- this beer mask recipe will work just fine. I know what you are thinking. Can you use it before you hit a party? Yes, you can. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the mask and you’d never know you were dunked in beer an hour ago!

Note: This recipe will work for normal to combination skin, which is a plus point. Plus, this also helps reduce dark spots and blemishes.

Rest, why don’t you figure it out for yourself! You’ll be happily surprised.

What you need

————————————————————————————————————————-

Beer: 1/2 teaspoon

Egg white: 1

Almond extract: A drop

Whisk it all together and keep. Wash your face with the face wash you prefer, pat dry and apply mask directly on face.

Let it dry- at this point your skin will feel very taught and you’ll feel like your botox treatment has gone wrong. Just relax and think of Gerard Butler.

When completely dry, wash your face with lukewarm water and see the results. Honestly, if not the beer mask, I think Mr. Butler is also quite capable of giving you that dreamy glow. 😛

Real glow for real girls baby.

Try it out and let me know!

  1. My name is Amy, I’m a Receptionist/Blogger for Citron Spa in Prov. RI. First I must say, awesome blog! It’s put together extremely well and you have a lot of helpful tips! I was wondering if I could have your permission to use the photos (just the first two, not the one of you) for our upcoming Father’s Day event: “Beer is For Boys.” (we will be offering skin services with products containing beer and so on) I will definitely give you and your blog credit for the pictures as well. Feel free to email me at [email protected].

    Thank you so much!
