Our journey started back in 2009 with a blog called Trumatter.
A teeny place on the internet to jot down my décor projects, recipes, and little things that make a house feel like home. Resources were scarce, hope was high, and DIY possibilities- aplenty!
But little did I know that over the years that the blog will become an extension of me. It would go on to win a bag full of awards, eventually leading me to quit my day job and delve into the world of decor full-time. Love I tell you makes one do foolish things. But better foolish and happy than wise and sad!
Over the years, we’ve built a wonderful community of people who believe that a home should be a sanctuary, a place where you can truly relax and be yourself.
During the pandemic, when we were all confined to our homes, I realized the lasting impact our living spaces can have on our state of mind and lives. Carrying the thought forward, I founded Trumatter Living in 2023, to bring the timeless charm of country living into the modern world through home and living products that echo those cozy vibes of an unhurried homestead.
Over the years, I’ve designed and styled homes, and studios, co-designed products with various boutique brands, and shot product visuals for some of the world’s leading brands.
I’ve also been lucky to win a few awards along the way and my work has been featured in some pretty prestigious publications.
But Trumatter is more than just a brand. It’s a community of people who share a passion for creating soulful living spaces. We’re always sharing tips, tricks, and inspiration on our social media, newsletters, and blog and I would love to have you join us on this cozy journey!
