I’ve been wanting to make these aqua vintage glass jars so badly! And tell you what? One should make them ‘coz they give any wee corner such a brilliant look. Stud them with flowers or with some vanilla pods or lavender bunch. I just cannot get over them. Best part is, mine are washable, inside out!
Turquoise Ink- any. Fountain pen ink, sketch pen ink, food color or any color that does not have a latex base. Acrylic paints would not work. You can mix two parts of blue to one part of green if turquoise is not available.
White glue that dries clear- again, any.
A thick brush
Clear varnish
Procedure
Clean your jars with soap water and dry thorough
To about a tablespoon of glue mix two drops of turquoise ink
Mix thoroughly and with help of a brush paint the glass jars on the outside
Let it dry for at least an hour before giving it a coat of clear varnish
Let dry for a day and you’re ready to flaunt them.
Washing instructions: Cold water rinse only and a light sponge would be perfect.
Hope you all had a productive weekend and hope you all have a super creative week ahead.
