I was really getting to worry that somehow this cabinet will continue to exist as a chaos in my otherwise very white room. But one hour of no electricity and boredom seem to give me the necessary prodding. How? Please do not ask. That is how my brain works. At weird places and time.
You know, this was an experiment gone wrong. Getting very kicked (Yes, the blogs are to blame) by some wonderful chalkboard paint projects, I dowsed my brush and gave it a coat. What I didn’t realize was it had a wallpaper base and I had to rip it off.
Anyway, last night I ripped off the old paper and covered the shutters in this fabric. Small nails plus Araldite (Hot Glue) for securing the corners where pins could not reach.
Finally, the chaos in the order has been heeded to. Here is the before! I know eeeks!
Such a relief! That too with investment on only nails and glue. The fabric comes from an old curtain!!
Would love to hear what you think 🙂
