I’ve been listening to ‘Gotten’ by Slash and Adam Levin all day today. It got me like I’ve never been gotten before! Listen to it to know what I mean. The whole thing just took me to another place, to another time. I was dreaming. And somewhere between this dream and reverie, I was hungry. I settled for nothing but freshly baked veggies with cheese and a tall glass of juice. And no white sauce. No two thoughts about it.
Ingredients:
1 carrot: Dice cut
1 shallot: Cut in rounds
5-6 green beans, washed and halved
1 tomato: Sliced
2-3 Cabbage leaf: washed and cut into strips
A handful of corns
Shredded cheese: 1/3 cup.
Butter: 1 teaspoon
Pepper & salt to taste
I used whatever was there in my refrigerator. You can also add baby corn, mushrooms or whatever you prefer!
Procedure:
Steam, cook or boil the vegetables just until cooked.
Pour 1 teaspoon of butter in a baking dish and spoon your vegetables into it. Season with salt and pepper and top it off with grated cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes and serve hot.
Looks like you may have inspired me for dinner!!
