I needed a hanging flower pot for a space that’s undergoing the trumatter transformation. I checked in the local nurseries, malls and even the potteries but nothing I found was looking like it could be mine. Solution? put the grey matter to work. Lazy lump of fat.
I had this cake pan lying around which really was never used. And since i bought it, I always thought it would make a beautiful flower pot; a hanging one was something that never crossed my mind.
So I drilled three small holes on the sides, fixed some chain and re-potted a couple of money plant. There you go!
Your own little flower basket is ready in a jiffy. What do you girls say then? Ho hum to hot or not?

clever, cheap, and using vertical space…
hits the spot.

That totally rhymes n I’m quite satisfied with the result. Vertical space is what I just didn’t think about before…
Love it!!!

Thank you Aimee! Glad you like it.
genius ! A cake pan into a flower pot … ! It’s pretty !
You always make me feel so good Rupa. Thank you. Hows the weather turning in Sydney?
I so need to figure this out. I love plants but the pots are so costly.
Tammy, I think tin cans and plastic cans even are great alternative to the costly ceramic ones. Best part is you can customize them. I’ll post a closeup.
looks nice…simple and beautiful!
@kalyan: Thank you
A great use of something you otherwise wouldn’t use. And it looks lovely.
Yeah…remember I told you about that figure conscious side of mine? No cakes are happening anymore.
Thats a great idea! Very creative! Thank you for sharing with us at TTF and have a wonderful day!
Thank you Diann
