IMG_1481So, how’s it goin with you.

I’ve been doing a bit of kitchen foofing lately and with about 8$ investment I think I did a good job.

Used up some printed labels, threw stuff here and there, some old recipes found recognition in the wall of fame and kept it open and organized. The perfect handy summer kitchen…

IMG_1480The only sore sight in my opinion was the gas-cylinder. I thought of doing a cover of sorts for it…but then fell in love with its ugliness. It adds character. You want to throw India in something? Add a gas cylinder. Second in line would be that silver gas stove. I wanted to get rid of it ever since…This in my opinion does nothing. I would very much like an under counter gas oven, thank you.

IMG_1486If you don’t want to invest in readymade chalkboard labels, print out chalkboard labels from free images or paid images and write with a correction pen. As simple as that.

IMG_1484This is where we started.

20140323_110732I still need to get good lights, and there are couple of more things planned for this wee kitchen but for now, I’m sort of happy with this. I think I’ll install a door for the cylinder space and buy a barstool and paint it turquoise or sunshine yellow. Would that be a good idea? To catch some wine when the steak’s still cooking?

What do you think?

    1. Thanks…im sure people here will think im crazy to crush on that chippy gas cylinder but I think it looks quite shabby..thanks for the vote.

  1. I can totally understand how you can fall in love with a gas cylinder! I think, it fits great in your kitchen, which does look great, overall!
